Our goal when performing any restoration work consists of two parts:
· to bring back the object to its original condition, so the damages will no longer show, and, when necessary, the object will be structurally reinforced.
· to have the restoration work reversible, and not to damage the object in any way during the work.

Our artisans have been restoring antiques for over thirty years and can fix most anything -- the older the furniture, the more the challenge, and we can handle museum-quality repairs.   We have expertise in the stripping, repair, and refinishing of all types of fine antique and heirloom wood furniture, to include the application of old-world and modern finishes.

While many people can beat us in price, we guarantee that nobody can do a better job then we can. Whether reinforcement or cosmetic work is done, we do all we can to leave as much of the original stains and finishes intact. After all, an 18th Century piece should not look like new. But it should be as strong as it was when it was originally manufactured. That is why we reinforce the objects with inside pins, and try not to destroy original finish....and we use custom hand carved details to replace those that are missing.

Photographs & Documents - Restoring old photographs is one of our specialties. We can recover lost treasures that you may have been forgotten and considered 'lost forever'. Our long-term experience in photo and document restoration allows us to restore items that have been damaged by physical accidents, poor storage or deterioration that naturally happens with age. Artwork & Paintings - We use traditional materials and techniques to clean, refresh, retouch and restore paintings and photographs. Holes, scratches, and tears are repaired, as well as general wearing-away of pigment. We never distorts the original work either in form or color.. Everything is done the old-fashioned way; nothing digitally. We place a big emphasis on preservation of artworks and go out of our way to make sure that the problem we are correcting will not reappear before its time. As an example, when we eliminate a tear in a painting, we not only make the damage invisible, but we also reline it to make sure that the tear does not reappear in the future.

Porcelain, Glass, Ivory, Leather & Metal - No one can do a better job at restoring porcelain, glass, ivory, leather and metal then us. Our specialty is invisible restoration. This means that if you have an item that was broken, after we are done working on it, you will not be able to see the restoration work with a naked eye. Our expertise covers works of various masters and different periods and it does not matter to us if the piece was made during Ming dynasty in China or in modern United States.
